Squaddle joins forces for a night of winter culinary decadence.

Last week, 40 lucky patrons were treated to a special night of local produce, brews in an event organised by Little Cheese Shop owner Geoff Hodder. ‘4 Sides’ was a unique opportunity to try hand selected cheeses with local brews from Feral Brewery and some amazing whiskeys from Perth’s own start up whiskey distillery, the aptly named Whipper Snapper.

In addition, Adam Bielawski from Poached Pear was on hand providing some amazing chicken ballotine and truffled goats chévre garnished with local walnuts and herbs from his own garden.

Local brewer Feral also offered two of their more special brews to accompany the feed with the Feral Boris and Fiin Diesel matching Geoff’s cheese choices magnificently. The Whipper Snapper Moonshine made the cool evening all the warmer and the amazing warm apple pie whiskey was one of the highlights of the night.

Well hosted throughout by Geoff, each producer was offered the opportunity to explain the background of their wares to the much appreciative dining audience.
‘Squaddlers’ Blake Barrow and Jill de Lange delivered outstanding service during the evening in what was a wonderful way to spend a mid-week winter night.

Keep your eye out for more special functions from Geoff and his friends in the coming months. They are not to be missed and a great opportunity to appreciate the amazing talent and produce that Perth has to offer.
